Per Capita Assessment / Opt-Out
Recently households were mailed a letter regarding our annual Per Capita giving. As Presbyterians, we are a connectional church. This annual assessment of $38.75 “per member” is paid by each church to the larger church. This amount includes $7.52 to General Assembly, $4.10 to the Synod and $27.13 to West Jersey Presbytery. This amount has not been raised in seven years.
NEW! Pay your Per Capita payment online
NOTE: It appears some households may not have received the Per Capita letter with the opt-out information. If you wish to opt-out of paying the per capita and request that your portion NOT be sent to support Presbytery, Synod, and GA, please fill out the enclosed tear-off form from the letter below and return it to the church office or contact Norm Vandergrift at (856) 235-1688, Ext. 112 or firstname.lastname@example.org.

Mission Study Report Approved and Released
"On the evening of December 6th, the Committee on Ministry (COM) of the Presbytery of West Jersey vigorously approved the Mission Study Report of our church. The Mission Study Report is necessary before a Pastor Nominating Committee can be elected. You were very helpful to the Mission Study Team when you responded to the “Post-it-Note” survey on Sunday mornings and online. Thanks for your very meaningful input! " - A message from Rev. Jim Capps.
Mission Study Report
Since it was officially organized in 1887, the FPC - Moorestown has committed to impacting the people of Moorestown and its surrounding area for Jesus Christ. Since that time, our location has changed several times, pastors have come and gone, and countless individuals have encountered Jesus through our congregation. Through it all, we are convinced that the Holy Spirit has brought us together for the purpose of developing disciples saved by Jesus’ grace and living in His love, ready to make him known in a world still desperate for a Savior. Today, our story remains the same. As we contemplate our next chapter, we are still committed, like the faithful witness who came before, “to know Christ and make Him known”. We are thankful for all we have been and hopeful for all we may be, faithful that He who began a good work at FPC - Moorestown will carry it through to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Service SundaySunday, February 26, 2017, All Worship Services
As we did on Commitment Sunday with our financial pledges, during worship on Service Sunday, members will complete their Service Pledge Form, indicating ways in which they will serve the Lord and the church this year. There are hundreds of ways to be involved, what ministries mean the most to you?
Completed surveys will be given to Harris Ransom, coordinator of volunteers. Committee chairs will be provided the names of those who have expressed interest, so that they may follow up with them promptly. Every attempt will be made to place you in the activity that you select; however, some activities may be filled, and others may need your services because there is a shortage of volunteers.
